وجهت منظمة سياج لحماية الطفولة نداء انسانيا إلى الحكومة اليمنية ومنظمات الإغاثة الإنسانية الطارئة للتحرك الفوري لإنقاذ مئات الاسر في ساحل تهامة جنوب الحديدة. ودعت سياج كلا من التحالف العربي وجماعة الحوثي إلى تامين طريق لإخراج المدنيين الذين لا زالوا محاصرين في قرى بمديرية الدريهمي. وإيصال المساعدات المنقذة للحياة لكافة المدنيين المتضررين من الحرب. المعلومات الاولية المتوفرة لدينا تفيد بان نحو 50 اسرة غالبيتهم اطفال ونساء نازحون من قرى الطائف وغليفقة ومنظر إلى الصحراء غرب بيت الفقيه يعانون ظروفا إنسانية بالغة السوء. في حين أن مئات الاسر استضافتها أسر فقيرة تعاني هي نفسها من الفقر وانعدام القدرة على توفير الطعام والمياه لأفرادها.... هناك مئات الاسر محاصرة في القرى لم تستطع النزوح أو التحرك من القرى الواقعة في مناطق مواجهات ومناطق ملوثة بالالغام المضادة للافرد والتي تمت زراعة الآلاف منها بشكل عشوائي في مساحات واسعة من المزارع والبيوت والطرقات.
مصادر منظمة سياج في المنطقة تقول بأن النازحين والمحاصرين لم يتلقوا أي مساعدات منذ نزوحهم خلال شهر رمضان المنصرم. وهم بحاجة ماسة إلى الغذاء ومياه الشرب والخيام والادوية.
المصادر تؤكد أنه تمت زراعة الغام وافخاخ في منازل النازحين ومزارعهم وان مجرد العودة إلى تلك المنازل يمثل خطرا مميتا عليهم.

تحذر منظمة سياج لحماية الطفولة من خطورة الوضع الإنساني في مديريات الدريهمي ومنظر وأجزاء من بيت الفقيه والحسينية والتحيتا وغيرها من المديريات في الساحل التهامي.
وتدعو سياج السلطة المحلية والمنظمات الاغاثية التحرك العاجل لانقاذ المدنيين في القرى التهامية المذكورة.

Thousands of civilians urgently need to be rescued in Tuhama .

SEYAJ Organization for Childhood Protection is calling on the Yemeni government and emergency humanitarian organizations to immediately move to save hundreds of families in Tihama Coast, south of Al-Hodeidah.
SEYAJ calls on both the Arab Coalition and the Houthi group to secure a way to remove the civilians who are still trapped in villages in the Durahmi district, and to deliver life-saving assistance to all war-affected civilians.
The initial information available to us indicates that about fifty families, mostly children and women displaced from the villages of Taif, Ghalifqa and Manthar to the desert in the west of Beit al Faqih, are suffering from extremely poor humanitarian conditions. While hundreds of families have been hosted by poor families who themselves suffer from poverty and the inability to provide food and water to their members.
There are hundreds of families besieged in villages that have not been able to move from villages in areas of confrontation and areas contaminated by anti-personnel landmines, thousands of which have been planted indiscriminately in large areas of farms, houses and roads.
SEYAJ sources in the region say that the displaced and the trapped have not received any assistance since their displacement during the month of Ramadan. They desperately need food, drinking water, tents and medicines.
The sources confirm that mines and booby traps were planted in the houses and farms of the displaced, and that the mere return to these houses represents a mortal danger to them.
SEYAJ Organization for Childhood Protection warns of the seriousness of the humanitarian situation in the areas of Durahmi , Manther, parts of Beit al-Faqih, Husseiniya and al-Tahita and other districts in Tahami coast.
SEYAJ Organization calls on local authorities and relief organizations for urgent action to rescue the civilians in these Tahami villages mentioned.
